sexy restaurant Lolinda.

Old as Dirt!
You're turning 60, you want to throw a party with your closest friends that have been there for you the last 60 years of your life (and make it super fun). What to do???
Dress up like cavemen and act the part all night long! Theme parties are becoming more and more popular with milestone birthdays. It is a great way to get people to not be themselves an extra day of the year (the other is Halloween).
We had the fortunate opportunity to work with an amazing couple in San Jose recently for a birthday party. More specifically, a 60th birthday party. Let me tell you, I've done 60th birthday parties in the past but nothing came close to this one! Guests were invited to dress like cavemen and cave women to signify that the birthday girl was "old as dirt"! Guests at this party truly enjoyed the theme of the party and we're acting the part for most of the night.
While I was DJing and keeping the crazy cave people entertained on the dance floor, Sara kept everyone coming back for more laughs at the photo booth.
If you plan on having a birthday party, and you want to add some spice to it, make it a theme party...you won't regret it! People will have so much fun, have an extra exciting thing to talk about, and take home some funny stories to bring up for years to come until the next party!

Keep on keeping on!
Wow, it's been way too long since I've last posted anything here. Where do I begin? Well maybe I should start with the latest since that's the first thing on my mind. Aside from a very busy 2013, we are very excited to announce our name change! While it's still in the works, it seems to be shaping up fairly quick. Why the name change? Well to be honest with you, we've grown up! I figured we outgrew our name last year when we started to offer more than just music and DJ services. With our new name, people will better identify who we are and what we are all about. And we're not stopping there! Yes, we offer DJ/MC, Lighting, and Photo Booth services. But who knows what well be doing a year from now!
It's been a great start to 2013. We've met some amazing people at events we've hosted. It's a true testament to what we have to look forward to. Making people smile and always bringing the best party elements to each and every event!
I'll be sure to post the new site as soon as every detail is complete. Talk to you very soon!

My favorite gig of all time - Being a Dad
The best part of my day is coming home to my son Evan (and of course my wife Sara, when she is not working!). Yes being a dad is a ton of work, maybe even more work that the biggest DJ gig I've ever done. But as a father you don't look at it as work, it's so much fun. Being a Dad is teaching your kid how to grow up. It's teaching them how to be nice people. It's motivating them to do their best. It's spending time with them like going to the park or playing with them and their favorite toys. It's teaching them to be nice people. It's showing them as much unconditional love as you can.
As a Dad you're basically on call, all the time. Whether your kids wake up in the middle of the night because they had a nightmare, or he had something bad to eat and ends up barfing everywhere, you are always there for your kids as a Dad without even thinking twice.
Evan is such a big part of my life, that its very difficult to imagine life before he was born. He is my best little buddy.
So to all your proud Dads out there, although everyday is Fathers day, enjoy your Fathers Day weekend!

Lights, DJ, Action!
Here is a before and after photo taken at a wedding held at Silver Creek Country Club in San Jose. One of our clients requested purple up lighting to compliment their wedding theme. With just ten LED up light fixtures, we brought the place to life! Sure enough, as guests walked in, they were "wowed"!
I am always amazed at what a difference lighting makes to any venue, it really brings walls and ceilings to life! Do you remember the "Mainstreet Electrical Parade" held at Disneyland? Imagine how different that parade would have been without any lighting : )

Photo booth fun!
I am pleased to announce our new business, lolz! Photobooth. After doing some research and listening to my clients, I decided to invest and grow my DJ business with photo booth services. Have you ever been to an event that had a photo booth for their guests? It brings such so much fun to the table, it’s amazing!
Photo booths have been around for quite a long time, in fact the first automated photography machines was filed in 1888. The first known real working photo booth machine was shown at the World Fair in Paris in 1889! Photo booths sure have come a long way since then. Our photo booth has the best of both worlds, lightweight and portable yet it’s modern and fun looking. You can also fit up to 10 people at once!!!
Sp spread the word, lolz! Photobooth is now open for business. It is the perfect addition to any fun event you are planning!

California Destination Wedding
Destination weddings somehow always seem to have a different energy to them. Everyone seems to be more relaxed and ready to have a bit more fun, probably because they end up making the wedding a mini vacation! Take Marleen and Chris Lewis for example. They chose a great location in Northern California as their wedding location, Arnold Black Bear Inn. They could not have chosen a better venue than this one. Bruce and Wendi Davison run this beautiful location and were a big part in making this event a success. Take a look at this video I created for Marleen and Chris.

BMX Extravaganza!
I had such a great time with the folks from San Jose Hyland Bikes this past Saturday for their 1st annual BMX Extravaganza. Bill Hyland Senior and Bill Junior coordinated this event with the help of many friends and family, and I was lucky enough to DJ for them. Our riding bud, Eric took control of the mic to announce all the cool moves from local riders. Mirra Bike Co. rider Lenny showed his stuff as well as helped in giving away a totally rad Mirra bmx bike to one lucky winner.
Whether you ride BMX, Fixie, or cruiser bikes, look no further than Hyland Bikes. They will give you that one on one attention that is very hard to find at the bigger name shops. You will be impressed with the entire staff, which are totally cool, knowledgeable riders!
